Vertical Carbon Masthead Unit

The CARBOWIND masthead unit is an instrument for the measurement of wind speed and direction. The long rigid carbon pole allows to position the sensor more than a meter above the mast head, beyond the fields of disrupted wind.

The carbon vane offers significant lightness and excellent resistance to vibrations. With very low inertial motion and hence high reactivity, this sensor is the ideal tool for regatta racer who wishes to obtain the variations of wind direction instantaneously.

It is connected to the TOPLINE bus of your installation.
